2 years already??

May 27th made two years of being Mr and Mrs Forsyth for us! It seems like the time has flown by. Aaron is a wonderful husband and it is so awesome that I get to wake up beside of him each day. The Lord has blessed our marriage so much over the past years. Here are alot of pics of us throughout the last 9 years of dating and marriage!

Date with the Weavers!

Mike and Audra have been our buddies for a long time. I went to cosmetology school with Audra. Mike and Aaron grew up together in the same church. After they got married four years ago, we all started hanging out...ALOT. Last week, we drove down to Monroe to meet up with them for dinner....Here are some pics from our double date.

Drive-In Movie!

A couple of weekends ago, Angelo, Kasey, Aaron and I went to the drive-in movies out in Belmont. It was fun to introduce Ang and Kasey to this interesting experience. Aaron and I have been going on dates there for years. We saw Narnia and Speedracer (really only Aaron made it all the way through Speedracer because it was so late). Here are some pictures from our outing.

Our Hippie Bus

This is the amazing hippie bus that we bought back in December. It is a 77' Volkswagen Campmobile complete with yellow and green plaid interior and a sink for camping. This is my dream vehicle. Aaron surprised me by getting it for me from Apex, NC. There are not alot of these around here. Everytime we found one to buy in our price range it would be out in California or New Mexico.
It doesn't quite run yet (I'm not even sure if its close to that point). =) We don't even own a key.....and the title hasn't been changed since aproximately 97'. Many of you probably think it is the most hideous rust bucket you've ever seen....but to me it is the ABSOLUTE BEST gift that I have ever recieved. One day, you will see Aaron and I traveling in our V-dub with flowers painted all over it.....and when we are beside the rode broken-down--please stop to help. We will repay you with some water from the sink that is a necessity to our campmobile..........

House Hunting

We have been looking at a house (our first house) to buy and learning all about mortgages and all the overwhelming paperwork that goes with that. Our lease on our apartment ends May 30th and we would really like to move to this dream house. There are just so many details that are up in the air. It is very exciting to think that Aaron and I could buy a house or even be approved for a loan, sometimes it feels like we are still in ninth grade just "going out." I am trying so hard to be patient, but it is so easy to spend my time mentally placing my furniture in the rooms that I don't yet own. There are so many new things going on in our lives and it is amazing to think that God knows exactly what is going to happen and when it will. He provides all we need and always has.

Matthew 6:25,33--"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? … But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Aaron's New Job!

As many of you may know, Aaron worked for the office of disability services at UNCC throughout his college years. Before he graduated they decided to create a new position that Aaron would qualify for(with his amazing math major). Last week, we found out that he finally got the job. He is the official Assisstive Technology Specialist! The Lord is doing great things for us and blesses us beyond what we could ever deserve. Thank you to all of you who prayed for the situation throughout these last months. God is great!

Welcome!

So, Ive enjoyed reading everyone else's blogs for a while now and decided we should have one of our very own. I'm sure this will be a good way for family to keep up with us since im not so great at remembering to call people back! Hopefully, I will remember to post on here often. I'm sure there won't be too many exciting events considering it's just me and Aaron, but we'll see....=)
